About the Teacher

Herbalist Briana Wiles began wildcrafting her own remedies from the medicinal plants found right in her own backyard. She is a mother, teacher, and has written two books ‘Mountain States Foraging’ and Mountain States Medicinal Plants’. With a strong passion for keeping toxic products out of the home — along with the deep knowledge she had of plant medicine, medicinal herbs, and wildcrafted ingredients — Briana’s the founder of Rooted Apothecary, which first took root at local farmers markets, where she could share her herbal remedies and holistic solutions with those in her Colorado community. Ten plus years later and those roots have just kept growing — leading to two bustling retail stores in the Colorado Mountains and a thriving online shop. She recently relocated her family part-time to Hadley, Michigan where they are growing and Herbal Homestead and have moved their shipping and manufacturing HQ.
